Theres one thing to be told with certainty about Claire Thompsons writing, and that is she doesnt do stories in half measures. Enslaved pulled all my triggers loose. Im pretty confident I still dont know how I feel about this book, but I can say with confidence that this is one hell of a story.To anyone who might think to open the Pandoras box Enslaved keeps within, I have but only one advice. Too dark for me. the non-con was both too intense to appeal to me on one hand, and not twisted enough to feed my "kinkies" on the other.

Disclaimer: Snark + gifsI think what irked me the most about this book, was improper use of technique in kink, the D/s session/relationship starting with blackmail (which I can understand the fantasy, when used in a safe sane consensual way). I'm not going to give this book a rating and I couldn't finish it. I accept that some people will enjoy this but it's non-consensual forced slavery, sadism and the hero is nasty and vindictive.Really not for me.
