i really love lynne ewing's books! this gave me an insight into the Samuel's previous life and the struggle he had with ajusting to a new time

I liked this book, I really did. Going into this series I knew it was written for a younger audience, I also knew that it was written to go along with the Daughters of the Moon series by the same author. If you reading those and considering reading these, DO NOT READ BOOK THIRTEEN OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE MOONS SERIES BEFORE READING THIS SERIES! I mean it! I believe if I read this series before I read book 13 of the DOTM series I would be enjoying these books a lot more. It does reference some

This book was a definite improvement over book one of the Sons of Dark series. Ewing cleaned up the offensive language. The teen drinking and seductive behavior make the book inappropriate for a public school library. In this book, the characters realized that they could not only travel to a parallel reality but also assume that they may be able to alter events by traveling back to an earlier time. I see potential for book three.

This is the second book in the Sons of the Dark series by Lynne Ewing. This is book is titled Escape. This book talks about another one of the Legend of Four, Samuel. He comes into the picture, and is tried to be persuaded by Ashley who promised to help him travel back in time to find his family. But the others urge him not to listen to Ashley. I loved reading the background story of Samuel and his family. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy reading book with supernatural abilities



I definitely believe this was better than the first one, but it still took forever to even pick up the book after reading the other ones I checked out from the library. Well, better, but still not really great.
