I really wish that this book had been in my library a couple of years ago when I first started teaching myself how to make bags. It really is an excellent book, especially for a young person or someone who has never really channeled their creative side. Hilarie walks you through the basics of finding your creative mojo, a bit about color and design, and the fundamentals of sewing.
