Really fantastic novella, great action, we got into 3 heads, which was really great, and I think that the threat that Philip was thinking about, is going to come in book 7! Can't wait!Thread of Death is a great shot story setting up for the change in Ashland and what is coming for Gin. We get three different POV's in this one. I loved the three different POV's. We get action, some hints, and letting go of one era and moving into the next. Don't read this unless you have read up to book 5 or past, because this short gives away a lot of what happened in the previous novels and sets use up nicely for whatever is coming next.Rated: 4 Stars
Short and sweet Elemental Assassin story This short story takes us through the aftermath and arc conclusion of Jennifer Esteps 5th book, Spiders Revenge. On the outside, Gin looks as healthy as ever, but shes still healing internally from her huge showdown with Mab. Gin wants to drop by the old girls funeral to say her goodbyes (as weird as that may seem), but with her secret out shes got an even bigger target on her back with all of Ashlands underworld wanting a piece.The this short was pretty
I really like this series and all of the repetition usually doesn't bother me as it does others but I must say in a short story like this I think it was to much.
Gin at her best. At Mab's funeral, Gin encounters an assassin (of course!) after her. But who set up the hit?4.5 stars
Estep should totally use multiple POV's more often. And now I'm very intrigued about Owen and Kincaid's shared past...
grreat setup for after spider's revenge with a sneak peek of gin's next adventure but still too much of going over previous books
