Forgotten World, book six in the Broken World series, continues following a group of survivors after a super-virus has decimated the human race and the dead have come back to claim it as their own...After the longest winter of her life, Vivian is thrilled to have Ginny back at her side. But joy soon turns to shock when the group learns that not only is Hope Springs in contact with other survivors, but that the CDC is working on a vaccine. And Angus could be the last hope for the human race.
With an armed escort, the group sets out on a mission to get Angus to Atlanta. But the world proves to be more dangerous than the people of Hope Springs believed, and their lack of preparation ends in deadly results. Vivian knows they must get Angus to Atlanta if they want to save the human race, but it doesn't take long to discover that this might be the most dangerous journey they have ever made. With trouble around every corner and their losses piling up, the stakes are higher than ever before.

This was a really great series. This book picks up on following the survivors on their journey and continues to draw you into the story and into the characters. The little town of Hope Springs is surviving, but is run by Dax, a man that seems to not be very grounded in the reality of how dire surviving is and what it takes to be outside of the walled area that Hope Springs has set up for themselves. The group finds that Angus is immune to the virus and that he is the potential hope for the CDC to come up with a vaccine. The
AmazingHated how so many people in this story died but it was still an amazing story loved it. Excellent series

Hated how Angus was handledThis was a pretty good ending to the series, but the Angus ending was done badly and seemed pretty abrupt and senseless. It had bad timing. He deserved better I thought. It appeared tacked on and unemotional. Just weird.
I cried like a baby at the end of this book. We loose one of our original characters! I was holding my breath in so many places in this book. Love, loss, and hard choices leave the characters battered physically and mentally as they fight to make it to Atlanta. I can't wait to see how things go down in the next one!!
This was an outstanding book in the series. There was so much action and heartbreak and the author had cut out some of the more repetitive issues with the writing, so I LOVED it! I loved that all of them were struggling to make sure Angus got there and that baby Megan was safe too. This was just an outstanding book and I felt like there was a good ending here, though I hated some of the heartbreaking deaths.
This series will be hard to beat! This entire apocalypse series was/is the best zombie story I have read. And I have read many of them. All of the characters are believable, well liked, but also missed as they die throughout the series. The main characters, are portrayed as strong individuals, and really stand out as special people, taking risks to save themselves as well as the rest of the group. Thank you Kate L. Mary for creating such a wonderful dystopian zombie apocalyptic series.
