I lost the love of my life when she disappeared without even a goodbye.
It was the 80’s – there was no internet, no Google, no cell phones.
If you wanted to disappear, you could.
And she did.
She crushed my soul.
A friend just told me he saw her on Facebook.
And now I’m a keystroke away from asking her the question that’s haunted me for two decades.
“Why did you leave me?”

Two decades after she broke his heart, sexy entrepreneur Schooner Moore uncovers the truth and betrayal his life has been built on when he Facebook friend requests college love, Mia Silver. Determined to win Mia’s love once again, Schooner embarks on a life-altering journey that could cost him everything.

This is the first book of the Needing Moore Series trilogy and is not meant to be read as a stand-alone. Book 2 - Moore to Lose and Book 3 - Moore than Forever are currently available.

Julie A. Richman's latest stand-alone novel, Bad Son Rising, releases September 12, 2014.

Appraise Out Of Books Searching For Moore (Needing Moore #1)
Holy crap! What just happened? I LOVE, LOVE LOVED this book! Now I NEED book 2 - my stomach's in knots from the cliffhanger at the end - not sure how I'm going to endure the wait! Mia Silver and Schooner Moore meet as college freshman. Mia is a quirky New Yorker while Schooner is the quintessential blue-eyed, blond California boy who everyone naturally thinks is beautiful. He is desperate to please his family by being someone he thinks they think he should be - he has the gorgeous blonde

LOVE, LOVE this book, "your first, your last" "baby girl" lost love found again on Facebook just perfect, flashback to college even more perfect but the cliffhager is pure evil on authors part and I want MOORE and I want to slap, hit, punch CJ and Zac in the face.

3.5 stars Jenny: Well, Gitte I was checking through my notes and thinking back on this book about friends to lovers and second chances....oh there was so much I loved! Really loved. It was emotional, beautiful, sad, funny and the ending made me gasp, what a cliffhanger! Getting to know Schooner, Mia and CJ all the way through their college years and watching them mature, going through their ups and downs, was such a wonderful journey and I was enjoying this book so much, not to mention how much

The Needing Moore Series by Julie A.Richman Adult contemporary trilogy. Must be read in order. FULL SERIES REVIEWI have been wanting to read the Needing Moore series by Julie Richman for a long time, but never really got a chance to commit to a 3-book series. I have heard so many amazing things, that when I saw it was on audio, I grabbed the whole series ASAP.I loved the epic story that covered over 25 years. I loved the realistic characters. However, I don't recommend the audio version of this

I have three words for you - SCHOONER FLIPPING MOORE!!! OK...so I actually have more words for you. This book is very likable and unique. I love how the author goes from the present to the past and back to the present. While doing so, she makes this book enjoyable for any one ages 18 and up. The book starts off with a dapper looking 43 year old, Schooner Moore. He's athletic, well-kept, fashionable, sharp and successful. The book then takes a quick turn back to his college years. There you will

Absolutely loved this debut book from Julie Richman. It was cute and sweet and a breath of fresh air from the multitude of books that I've read recently in which the main characters have an insta-love. In this book, there is no instant love between Schooner and Mia, but rather there is curiosity and intrigue that slowly morphs into friendship and then love. The whole time you're rooting for Schooner and Mia, hoping that they'll make it through all of the drama and angst to get their happily ever

5 Can't Wait for Moore STARSPurchased this book last night and read it until I finished it. From the first chapter, it was very hard NOT to be invested in these characters. What is so very impressive is that it has the appeal for 20 somethings up to 50 somethings! We are taken from the present day where Schooner is 43 years old and has no clue what the hell his world has become or who he is. He's living a "plastic Barbie/Ken existence" with CJ until his old college friend, Beau, reveals that
