What to say.... It was and it wasnt my story. The wasnt part topped the was, thats why 2 stars. I didnt care at all for the technical/biological (for me boring) stuff of the parasite which was turning Val. There was actually a lot of information that wasnt interesting for me. I didnt care about the flashbacks or the dreams that were in cursive. The sex scenes could have been hotter. But....still I want to finish the series. Because I did love the chemistry, love and sexual tension between Val

Not a bad story...all the usual vampire vs werewolf type angst with a pinch of science thrown in for good measure! I really enjoyed the twists to the standard myths surrounding the paranormal and lets face it the love story's not too hard on the imagination either! I'll definitely be reading the second in the series!
